Recycle Bin information
Do’s and Don’ts
Do:
Know your collection schedule
Know where your materials should be placed for collection
Use a clearly marked bin OR cardboard boxes OR paper bags
Put shredded paper inside of a paper bag to keep it contained
Know what materials are recyclable (See
Falling into Place
)
Don’t:
Please don’t put your bins out too late for collection – our collection trucks start bright and early and your
items need to be at the curb by 7AM
Please, please don’t use plastic bags! (they get stuck in the automated sorting equipment)
Please don’t include materials that we cannot currently process (See
Falling into Place
)
